The plasma projectile itself is a plethora of destructive elements, a dense military grade core containing subtronically charged molecules that are just dying to set themselves free with a thunderous bang.

Top five tips on plasma cannon usage:
1) plasma robots are weak at close range against laser cannons, never ever exchange a close range face to face firefight, you’ll likely get blown to bits during the recharge phase.
2) buddy up with fellow artillery robot, sit on a hill and alternate firing on those puny ants below.
3) provide cover for your more ahem.. “Enthusiastic” team mates, the longer they last, the longer you last.
4) if all else fails a good tactic is to sneak up close on an enemy and blast them point blank in the posterior, failure to make a kill will leave you vulnerable in recharge, so make it count.
5) call yourself advanced – then learn how to make a flying plasma firing robot, it is not easy but it’s very rewarding – try flying upside down to create a bomber, lots of fun.

Brandish one of these plasma-doo-dads in the face of your enemies and all but the sturdiest temperament will flee in terror.

    I really like the concept of Plasma Cannons, AKA artillery. It really makes the battlefield more intense and dangerous. I don’t think the Plasma Cannons are over-powered, like many people do.
    The only problem I have with the Plasma Cannons is that they can be used to bomb/spam bomb the bases making capturing them impossible unless the team your on has a flying vehicle to intercept the bomber.
    My proposed solution to this problem is to decrease the height at which flying vehicles armed with Plasma Cannons can fly so they can be at least seen, if not within range of the L5-S Top Laser.
    I understand that this defeats the purpose of a bomber, but since they are basically near-atmosphere stealth bombers, perhaps there could be a way for ground vehicles to go underground, like strategic bunkers placed throughout the map. To prevent this being abused, there ought to be a time limit with a cool down time so one cannot simply leave and come back repeatably. To further limit abuse, the bunkers will fill themselves with plasma at certain times towards the end of the game to eliminate hiders as the bunkers close up.
