Hover Blades are here!

Hover Blades are here!

Look Ma – I can hover with no hands !

Placement : Hover Blades can only be placed horizontally, they do not function if you place them vertically as they require “ground effect” to create lift.
Controls : pressing [spacebar] will lift your robot to the maximum ceiling height of that particular level of hover blade while pressing [Shift] will lower your robot to the floor.
Gryo : There is a clever autonomous self leveling system contained within each Hover Blades that balances is direction and power creating a very stable flying platform to build amazing robots from, throwing loads of jet thrusters onto your robot will give you a small speed advantage but you will notice each hover jet trying to slow itself down if you attempt to push it past it’s top speed rating.
Levels : As always upgrading to the next level of hover blades can increase your robot’s performance, upgrading hover blades gives you a faster top speed, more weight carrying capacity and a higher hover height.
Handling : You will notice Level 1 hover blades are slightly less reactive and drift sideways the more weight you add to your robot, in contrast putting Level 5 hover blades onto a tiny robot will mean outstanding agility and you will however be able to climb over most of the environment apart from extremely steep mountains.
– Handling : Robocraft is physics based so it is still possible to flip your hovering robot, it will still hover upside-down but you will notice that the controls are reversed, slowly going up a steep slope can sometimes flip you back upright again.

Wouldn’t a perfect replica of the DElorean need to be capable of time travel?

Luckily my aircraft can still fly higher than all you “hovercraft” people. There are still perks for helium and thruster methods. It is wheels that in my opinion are obsolete.

Hovercraft is the easy way out for flying. Quenn I do recommend you put some on your VOTL aircrafts for stability.

That will be one of the biggest additions to the X1A4 Aries, the planned super-heavy gunship to rule the skies for AurCo
